"Ganga undir jarðar-men"
Was a rite where the participants went beneath turf which they then lifted up on spears;
they called these lumps of earth "the jewellry of the earth".
The intention must have been a symbolic contact with the underworld and a rebirth.
Made in smoked oak and handmade glass in an ancient Italian technique called “Battuto”.
